DANIELTOWN BIBLE INSTITUTE DEGREE PROGRAMS
If the student prefers, the institute can select all the courses.
ASSOCIATE PROGRAM (Th.A)
Prerequisite: High School diploma, GED, equivalent or some college credits.
The Associate of Theology degree requires sixty (60) credit hours. These credits will be completed by taking twenty (20) courses. Each course is worth 3 credit hours. The student may select five (5) courses from the “Course Selection Sheet.” included in the handbook.
BACHELOR PROGRAM (Th.B)
Prerequisite: A Theological Associate degree or sixty (60) hours of transfer credits in Theology, Divinity, Religion or related field.
The Bachelor of Theology degree requires sixty (60) credit hours. These credits will be completed by taking twenty (20) courses. Each course is worth 3 credit hours. The student may select five (5) courses from the “Course Selection Sheet.” included in the handbook.
MASTER’S PROGRAM (Th.M)
Prerequisite: A Theological Bachelor’s degree or 120 hours of transfer credits in Theology, Divinity, Religion or related field.
The Master of Theology degree requires sixty (60) credit hours. These credits will be completed by taking twenty (20) courses. Each course is worth 3 credit hours. The student may select five (5) courses from the “Course Selection Sheet.” included in the handbook.
DOCTORATE PROGRAM (Th.D)
Prerequisite: A Master’s Degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion or a related field.
The Doctorate degree requires sixty (60) credit hours. These credits will be completed by taking twenty (20) courses. Each course is worth 3 credit hours. The student may select five (5) courses from the “Course Selection Sheet.” included in the handbook.
Also upon completion of your course studies a Thesis or Dissertation (at least 30 pages or 20,000 words) will be required to receive your Degree.
MINISTERIAL PROGRAM
Students in the ministry or going into the ministry may wish to enroll in the ministerial program. The student choosing to thus enroll will be unable to choose electives in the first and/or second year of studies as five (5) courses for this program will be added to the student’s regular enrollment. Notice: There is ONE elective in the Second (2nd) year of this program. Please see the “Ministerial Course Selection Sheet.”
AUDITING PROGRAM
Some students may not want to engage themselves in a formal school program for a degree but rather may desire to learn more about the Bible or Theology. These students will enroll and pay $25.00 per course and they will be eligible to receive a certificiate of completion. Should an Auditing student decide to enroll within the Institute for credit, then the balance of the tuition cost per course will have to be paid and once a copy of the course completion certificate is shown, the student will have the course tests administered and providing they satisfactorily pass, then course credit will be applied to their transcript.
